Belgian bluestone is a unique natural stone, quarried from limestone quarries in Hainaut and the Condroz region. This local blue limestone, also known as petit granite, is characterized by its light blue to grey tones, subtle fossil details, and natural imperfections that enhance its distinctive charm.

Bluestone 20×20 (arduin) can originate from two main sources: traditionally from the Ardennes (Belgian bluestone/arduin), a high-quality but more premium-priced material, and a popular, more affordable alternative is Vietnamese bluestone (Asian Blue). This durable, frost-resistant stone is often tumbled for an aged appearance and is ideal for terraces and driveways.
